Payment Terms & Service Period Conditions:
- Any service period or pricing provided may be reviewed where structural, environmental, or access conditions prevent completion of the agreed treatment program.
- Free quotes provided by phone are based on the information supplied by the customer. All quoted prices are estimates only and may change following an on-site inspection due to the property's condition, accessibility, scope of work, or any additional treatment or services required.
- Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment is due upon commencement of the initial treatment.
- Any complimentary or free service period is conditional upon full payment being received within the agreed trading terms.
- During any applicable free service period, remedial treatments for the specified pest may be provided at no additional cost, subject to prompt notification of ongoing pest activity.
- No warranty is provided for damage or consequential loss arising from past, present, or future pest activity.
- Treatments apply only to the pest species specified in the service agreement and do not cover any other pests.
- Once the agreed pest control treatment has been commenced or completed, the agreed service fee remains payable. Ongoing pest activity does not by itself cancel the service or entitle the customer to refuse payment or request a refund. Any concerns must be reported promptly for assessment under the applicable service terms.
- Any concern regarding the quoted or agreed price must be raised and resolved before the service commences. Once the service has been provided and the agreed price accepted and paid, subsequent claims based solely on price comparison, alternative market pricing or change of mind will not be considered, subject to any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.
- By booking services via phone, email, website, chat, or text, you acknowledge and agree to our terms and conditions published on our website.
Treatment Details and Control Agents:
- Only pest control products registered and approved for the relevant use by the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA), and used in accordance with their approved label directions and applicable State or Territory requirements, will be used.
- While reasonable care will be taken during treatment, certain surfaces, materials, fabrics, coatings, timbers, wall coverings or floor coverings may react to pest control products. Customers should identify any particularly sensitive or valuable items before treatment. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or damage arising from the inherent characteristics or condition of materials, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Where drilling, cutting or other penetration of building surfaces is required as part of the agreed treatment, the customer must provide accurate information and available plans identifying concealed power, gas, water, plumbing, communications or other services before work commences. While reasonable care will be taken, we cannot be responsible for concealed services that could not reasonably have been identified from the information or plans provided by the customer, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Possum Removal - Disclaimer & Warning:
- Possum removal services include inspection and, where appropriate, trap and bait setup. Roof proofing, sealing or exclusion works are not included as standard practice.
- Possum removal is not guaranteed, as possums are live animals and their movement and behaviors cannot be predicted and beyond human controlled. Possums may move, leave the property, or other possums may enter the area.
- Once captured, our operator or contractor will arrange removal and release in accordance with applicable local wildlife requirements. The customer must monitor the trap and promptly notify us of any capture or issue. Any additional visit beyond the service included in the booking may incur a call-out charge.
- Nothing in these terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Dichlorvos Safety Warning:
Where dichlorvos is used as part of the agreed pest treatment, the customer acknowledges that dichlorvos is a toxic insecticide that may cause adverse effects, particularly to sensitive persons. The customer must strictly follow all safety, preparation, ventilation and re-entry instructions provided by our operator and the applicable product label. Children, pets and occupants must remain away from treated areas for a minimum period of 2 hours, or as otherwise instructed.
Access and Treatment Effectiveness:
- Adequate and safe access to affected areas is required for inspection and treatment. Where access is restricted, unavailable or unsafe, treatment effectiveness may be affected, and we will not be responsible for areas that could not be accessed or treated, subject to the Australian Consumer Law.
- Our pest control service is limited to the agreed pest management treatment. We do not perform unrelated repairs, building works, cleaning, plumbing, electrical or other additional work. Where such work is required, the customer must engage an appropriately qualified or licensed professional.
Before Treatment:
- Before treatment, all food and utensils must be removed or securely covered. Plastics, leather goods, electrical equipment and other sensitive items must be covered or protected as advised by the operator.
- All people, pets and plants must be removed from the treatment area before treatment. Aquariums and aquatic life must be removed where possible or protected strictly in accordance with the operator's instructions and applicable product label.
- All naked flames, gas pilot lights and other ignition sources must be switched off where instructed. Doors and windows must be closed, and fans and air-conditioning systems switched off, as instructed by the operator, to ensure the treated area remains appropriately contained.
- Spraying may leave temporary residue or marks depending on the surface condition. Customers must advise the technician of any sensitive or recently painted surfaces before treatment. Routine cleaning of spray residue is the customer's responsibility.
Warranty / Follow-Up Service:
- Unless specifically stated and confirmed in writing, our services are not provided with a warranty or guarantee. Where the operator recommends a specific treatment and the customer accepts and pays for that treatment, any warranty or complimentary follow-up service offered by the operator will apply only to that treatment and for the period and conditions specified by the operator.
- Any warranty or complimentary follow-up service provided by the operator does not apply to recurrence or re-infestation of the pest.
- Any applicable warranty will be void if the customer fails to follow the post-treatment recommendations or instructions provided by the technician.
- We do not guarantee or accept responsibility for bad odors, dead animals or pest remains left in inaccessible or concealed areas, as these may occur naturally as a result of pest activity.
